ACOUSTIC EMISSION AND DAMAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF ANTHRACITE UNDER DIFFERENT CONDITIONS

چکیده
Acoustic emission (AE) can be used to observe the process of coal fracture propagation. Based on a press and acoustic-emission platform, damage characteristics anthracite with different loading rates, water amounts sizes were studied. The results show that there is less acoustic in initial compression stage coal; more active transition from elastic deformation plastic deformation, which manifested following aspects: faster rate, higher number events; peak count emissions saturated-coal sample significantly lower than natural-coal sample. Coal samples large emit even sounds. normalization counts, relationship between variables stress-strain studied, it characterized by an slow increase, followed rapid increase; however, factors have great influence damage-characteristic curve. research certain guiding significance for rock disaster prediction.

Study of the Frictional Surface Damage Using Acoustic Emission Method
In this study, the change at rubbing surfaces has been investigated experimentally using an acoustic emission signal monitoring system. A steel ring is slipped on the surface of a metallic sheet to simulate frictional conditions. The mechanical disturbances caused by the movement of the ring produce stress waves propagating along the sheet surface. The out of plane displacement of the sheet su...
متن کاملOn the Use of Acoustic Emission and Digital Image Correlation for Welded Joints Damage Characterization
A series of tests have been conducted to investigate fatigue damage characterization in corroded welded steel plates using structural health monitoring (SHM) techniques. Acoustic Emission (AE) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique with potential applications for locating and monitoring fatigue cracks in service. In the present work, AE is implemented to characterize damage during crack e...
متن کاملINVESTIGATION OF SEED GERMINATION CHARACTERISTICS AND RECOVERY OF GERRMINATION IN THE HALOXYLON APHYLLUM UNDER DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE AND SALINITY CONDITIONS
Haloxylon aphyllum is one of the most important species in sandy and saline areas in deserts, and some ecophysiology characters for viability in unfavorable condition have evaluated in this species. Seed germination is the critical stages in life cycle for species survival. In this study investigated salinity and temperature stresses on percentage and velocity of germination using six salinity ...
متن کاملEffect of urea and nitrapyrine on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of barley cultivars (Hordeum vulgare L.) under different tillage conditions
Tillage methods are among the most successful factors in agriculture that have a significant impact on the quality and quantity of agronomic plants. To evaluate different tillage methods and urea fertilizer with nitrapyrin on total chlorophyll content, grain protein, yield, and yield components of two barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivars, an experiment was conducted as split factorial in the r...
متن کاملAcoustic emission beamforming for enhanced damage detection
As civil infrastructure ages, the early detection of damage in a structure becomes increasingly important for both life safety and economic reasons. This paper describes the analysis procedures used for beamforming acoustic emission techniques as well as the promising results of preliminary experimental tests on a concrete bridge deck. The method of acoustic emission offers a tool for detecting...
